Pick a target multiplier (1.01× to 1,000,000×). The game produces a roll. If the roll ≥ target you win bet × target. If not you lose the bet. That's the whole game. It is just dice in a fancy hat.
limbo is what dice would be if it spent six months becoming a DJ.Real-money limbo: roll = 99 / (1 − R) where R is uniform [0,1). 1% of rolls clip to 1.00× and lose any target > 1.00 - that's the house edge. Ours uses roll = 100 / (1 − R), no clip. Win chance at target T is 1/T. EV at any target = exactly 1.00.
So 2× has a 50% win rate. 10× has a 10% win rate. 1000× has a 0.1% win rate. The variance is brutal at high multipliers - that's why the screenshots people post are real but never representative.
